Minnesota Minor League Baseball Team Gave Away Donald Trump & Joe Biden Bobbleheads At Their “Bobblelection Night”

Minor league teams are always trying to lure fans in with creative, intriguing promotions. The St. Paul Saints (minor league affiliate of Minnesota Twins) thought an “Election Themed Night” would be the perfect way to draw folks in later on in the season (not entirely sure why they thought that would be a good idea), so they decided to do a bobble head giveaway and scheduled it way back before the season got started.

Which means they had to order the bobble heads well in advance.

On paper, the idea is rather interesting. They ordered 1,000 Joe Biden bobble heads (that look like a Biden before the turn of the century) and 1,000 Donald Trump bobble heads (that frankly aren’t orange enough for my liking) so they could host a “Bobblelection.”

They explain how it works in the caption below, and also conceded that they obviously got one of the candidates wrong, but they couldn’t do much about it:

“They bobble. You decide. Tonight, the first 2,000 fans through the gate will be able to ‘cast their vote’ by choosing between the two bobbleheads.
