Priscilla Presley Emotionally Reveals More About Elvis Presley’s Private Life In Rare Interview

Nearly five decades after his death, there is more to learn about how Elvis Presley lived, as his ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, reveals more about his private life while speaking ahead of an event at the Hawaii Theatre Center recently. The 79-year-old noted that Elvis had his one little spot where he would slip away to relax when he was not working.

Elvis’ chill-out spot was located in Hawaii, and he would often fly there to clear his head in between shows. Priscilla explained that due to his dedication to performing, he needed some moments where he did nothing else to rest and appreciate life.

Despite being weak in the knees for one another, Priscilla and Elvis lasted only six years in marriage. This did not stop either party from acknowledging the mutual love they share— especially Priscilla, who still refers to him as the love of her life.

Their union was greatly affected by the Rock ‘n’ Roll king’s fame, as he was hardly at home and often entertained other women while away. Interestingly, Priscilla confessed that she could not remarry after their divorce because no one could match up to her late ex-husband in her eyes.

Why Elvis never had more children

According to Priscilla, Elvis was not even around to make more babies after their first child, Lisa Marie Presley, died of complications from surgery in January 2023. She added that he hardly felt any guilt for being away from young Lisa Marie, talking more about bringing in new children to the mix.

By 1972, Priscilla decided she had had enough and separated from her heartthrob to live life outside his shadows. She also stated that his infidelity was so unbearable that she began to fulfill her emotional and sexual needs with karate instructor Mike Stone in the early ‘70s. They finalized their divorce the following year but remained friends and co-parents until Elvis’ passing in 1977.
